Spontaneous Adventure, Responsible Tourism

Going With My Gut is all about letting yourself go wherever the wind takes you. We are an online travel blog that promotes spontaneous adventure, but also responsible tourism to create a better and safer world for travellers.

We provide travellers with a guide to the secret spots/activities/diners in all the countries you want to visit. We also do feature articles about a particular city’s history, food guides, and even itinerary samples. We want you to have as much fun as we have seeing the world, whether it’s backpacking in Bangkok or seeing the sites in Seville. Wherever you are, Going With My Gut is there to help you have fun!

As a freelance journalist, Jeremy has been assigned to cover stories all around the world, from South America and Africa, to Asia and Europe. During these assignments, he takes a couple of days to explore the locale, taking in the sights and talking to the local residents to get the realest experience possible.
When not on assignment, he likes to go out of town with his girlfriend, whom he met while backpacking across Southeast Asia. The couple loves the outdoors and camping.

Amy fell in love with traveling at an early age; as the child of parents who work for the State Department, she was able to visit and live in over a dozen countries before her 16th birthday. When she graduated college, she spent a year backpacking across Europe. She sas visited 35 countries and has no plans of stopping. She writes about her experiences for various travel and inflight magazines and is fluent in over 6 languages.

Eddie’s travels have taken him around the world, literally: his travel photos have garnered him social media fame, with some of his photos making their way to the Associated Press. A proud millenial and techie, Eddie blogs about his travels regularly, with a sheer focus on a locale’s food and nightlife scene. Eddie loves food so much, he is willing to stay in rundown hostels if it means being able to sample a city’s gastronomic culture.
